I kept a journal for many years from my junior year of high school (1998) until just before I got married (2005). Since then I have found it hard to sit down and put my thoughts on paper. Now I can do it on the computer.<br /><br />First things first, <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1"><span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">DNPCD</span></span>. I was debating on whether or not to reveal the meaning behind the <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">acronym</span> but since I doubt many people are going to lose sleep over not knowing, I will divulge. <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3"><span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">DNPCD</span></span> comes from the licence plate of one of the ESPN <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">personalities</span>. I think either Bob <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5"><span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">Ley</span></span> or the late Tom <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6"><span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">Mees</span></span>. <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_7"><span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5">DNPCD</span></span> stands for "did not play, coach's decision". This is basically the story of my life. Good enough to make the team but not to get in the game.<br /><br />I recently became a father. Avery Rose was born on August 2<span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_8"><span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6">nd</span></span>. I could be the proudest father ever. She really is the most beautiful baby I have ever seen. I am sure much will be said about her and the progress she is making. I tried to put a picture of her on here. I hope you can see it.<br /><br />*My wife Sarah is <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_9">absolutely</span> the best thing that has ever <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_10">happened</span> to me. I don't know and don't want to know where I would be without her. She is the perfect woman for me. She is super smart, funny, thinks I am funny, knock-out gorgeous, and doesn't take my crap. What more could I ask for? *<span style="font-size:78%;">My wife wrote this part</span><br /><br />My parents live close so we see each other all the time. I have two younger sisters Elizabeth (21) and Allie (15). My in-laws live in Indiana. I have two beagles, Zoe and Kip (training to be a cage fighter). Much of my ire comes form this section of my life. Most rants will be the result of some interaction with one or all of the above. Except for Elizabeth, none of them are computer literate so I feel safe telling their stories. Elizabeth, if you are ever reading this and get offended...just remember, I did it on purpose.<br /><br />I am an Executive Recruiter or a Head-Hunter. I love my job and am pretty good at it.
